Intercom integration

Connect Intercom and Swoop asks your support team what's behind a change in conversation volume or reply time.

Why a human answer beats another chart

Support already knows. A volume spike is rarely a mystery to the people answering it — it is a mystery only to everyone else, and it usually stays that way until somebody asks.

What Swoop watches

Read-only, and only what you point it at.

  • Conversations opened by day
  • Conversations closed by day

History arrives on connect. Intercom can hand over past values, so signals can appear on the first sync rather than after a wait.

Goals you can track from this

Swoop reads what Intercom already reports and proposes a goal with your own numbers in it — a baseline, a target you can change, and who to ask about it each week. Nothing is asked of anyone until you accept one.

What it asks, and who it asks

Questions are phrased from the change, never from a theory about the cause — a leading question gets you agreement instead of information.

The signal

Conversations opened jump above the weekly norm

It asks

What are people writing in about this week?

Routed to: The support team on shift

The signal

Reply time lengthens while volume is flat

It asks

What's making these harder to answer than usual?

Routed to: Support, and the engineers they escalate to

The signal

Closed conversations fall behind opened ones

It asks

What's getting stuck, and what would unstick it?

Routed to: Support leads

Usually answered by: Support agents and their leads — the fastest, least-used source of product truth in most companies. Answering is free and unlimited on every plan — you are never billed for the people who reply.

Connecting it

A couple of minutes. An access token from Intercom's developer hub.

  1. 01Access token

Intercom: Settings → Developers → Developer Hub → your app → Authentication. Read access to conversations.

  2. 02Regionoptional

us, eu or au — matches where your Intercom workspace is hosted.

  3. 03Choose what it may watch

Every source states what it is allowed to look at. Ingesting everything available is how this becomes another dashboard nobody opens.

Credentials are stored in your own infrastructure and used read-only. Nothing is ever written back to Intercom, and answers are synthesized by an open-source model on Amazon Bedrock inside your own AWS account — no foundational-model vendor sees your data.

Connect Intercom and ask your first question

Free to start, and you only pay for panels that answer. A question nobody responds to, one that duplicates a live one, or one answered from what your people already told us costs nothing.
