Salesforce integration

Connect Salesforce and Swoop asks the people on the deals why opportunities, stages or amounts moved — from a SOQL query you control.

Why a human answer beats another chart

Salesforce is the record, not the reason. Stage fields and lost-reason picklists compress a hard quarter into a dropdown; the rep who lived it can explain it in ninety seconds.

What Swoop watches

Read-only, and only what you point it at.

  • Opportunities created by day
  • Closed won and lost
  • Amount by day

History arrives on connect. Salesforce can hand over past values, so signals can appear on the first sync rather than after a wait.

Goals you can track from this

Swoop reads what Salesforce already reports and proposes a goal with your own numbers in it — a baseline, a target you can change, and who to ask about it each week. Nothing is asked of anyone until you accept one.

What it asks, and who it asks

Questions are phrased from the change, never from a theory about the cause — a leading question gets you agreement instead of information.

The signal

Opportunities stall in one stage longer than usual

It asks

What's holding deals at this stage right now?

Routed to: Reps with opportunities sitting there

The signal

Closed-won amount falls short of the pipeline's implication

It asks

What are you seeing between commit and signature?

Routed to: Sales leadership and deal desk

The signal

A region's win rate diverges from the rest

It asks

What's different about selling here at the moment?

Routed to: The regional team

Usually answered by: Account executives, deal desk and regional sales leaders. Answering is free and unlimited on every plan — you are never billed for the people who reply.

Connecting it

This one needs an admin. A connected app and a refresh token, which in most orgs means your Salesforce admin. API access is also chargeable on some editions.

  1. 01Instance URL

The address you see when logged in to Salesforce.

  2. 02Consumer key

From your Salesforce connected app: Setup → App Manager → View.

  3. 03Consumer secret

From the same connected app screen.

  4. 04Refresh token

Issued when the connected app is first authorized. We exchange it for a fresh token on every check, so it doesn't expire on you.

  5. 05Choose what it may watch

Every source states what it is allowed to look at. Ingesting everything available is how this becomes another dashboard nobody opens.

Credentials are stored in your own infrastructure and used read-only. Nothing is ever written back to Salesforce, and answers are synthesized by an open-source model on Amazon Bedrock inside your own AWS account — no foundational-model vendor sees your data.

Connect Salesforce and ask your first question

Free to start, and you only pay for panels that answer. A question nobody responds to, one that duplicates a live one, or one answered from what your people already told us costs nothing.
