Shopify integration

Orders, revenue and refunds in Swoop panels — answered by the people who packed the boxes, read the emails and watched it happen.

Every store analytics tool can tell you the abandoned-checkout rate went up. None of them can tell you the courier started missing dates, or that the size chart stopped being trusted after a returns wave, or that the wallet payment quietly disappeared on mobile. The people on the floor and in the inbox already know; nobody has ever asked them on the day it happened.

Shopify metrics Swoop can read

Read-only, and only what you point it at.

  • Orders
  • Order revenue
  • Average order value
  • Abandoned checkouts
  • Refunds

History arrives on connect. Shopify hands over past values, so signals can appear on the first sync.

Goals from Shopify numbers

Swoop proposes each one with your own baseline in it. Nothing is asked of anyone until you accept.

What it asks, and who it asks

Phrased from the change, never from a theory about the cause — a leading question buys agreement instead of information.

The signal

Abandoned checkouts climb while sessions hold steady

It asks

What are people telling you about the last step before paying?

Routed to: Support and whoever owns checkout

The signal

Average order value falls while orders hold

It asks

What changed about what people are putting in the basket?

Routed to: Merchandising, buying and the shop floor

The signal

Refunds rise after a quiet stretch

It asks

What are the returns actually coming back for?

Routed to: Fulfillment, support and quality

Usually answered by: Support, fulfillment, merchandising and store managers. Answering is free on every plan — you are never billed for the people who reply.

Connecting it

A couple of minutes. An Admin API token from a custom app in your store. Sixty days of order history — that is Shopify's limit, not ours.

  1. 01Store address

The .myshopify.com address, not your custom domain. It's in Shopify under Settings → Domains.

  2. 02Admin API access token

Shopify: Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → Create an app → Configure Admin API scopes. Tick read_orders and read_checkouts, install it, then reveal the token once.

  3. 03Choose what it may watch

Every source states what it is allowed to look at. Ingesting everything available is how this becomes another dashboard nobody opens.

Credentials are encrypted and used read-only — nothing is ever written back to Shopify. Answers are synthesized by an open-weights model on Amazon Bedrock, so no foundation-model vendor sees your data; Enterprise runs that model in your own AWS account.
